MVC is the latest actuator for globe valve and PICV introduced by Controlli S.p.A.
The main distinguishing features of the product are:
- Electronic Fail-Safe: MVC is available with an electronic fail-safe function with field selectable end position.
- Smart: MVC is self stroking and self-adjusting up to 12 mm stroke valves; MVC is also equipped with LEDs visible without removing the lid that can identify its operating status and anomalies;
- Flexible: Thanks to the automatic calibration function and the ability to set fixed stroke, MVC is suitable for a large number of valves both traditional and differential pressure-independent type (PICV);
- Performance: high close-off and fast timing thanks to a powerful stepper motor capable of providing 300 N force and running times of 30 s for valves with 5.5 mm travel;
- Complete: Available power supply 24Vac or 230Vac, with a 3-point floating or modulating voltage control signal (0..10V, 2..10V, 0..5V – 5..10V, 2..6V – 6..10V) or current (4..20 mA) control signal, with feedback signal (2..10V); all models are equipped with manual override and IP54 protection degree.
MVC is suitable for motorizing control valves and PICV valves with a stroke up to 12 mm.
