The “Cesare de Laugier” barracks in Florence is an example of the reuse of public real estate, through an integrated energy requalification.
In the building on the Lungarno where therer are the laboratories of the Scientific Police as well as the offices, Controlli has installed a latest generation BMS with MULTINET controllers and ENERGON regulators of the NR9000 series, for the automatic management of the various areas.
In particular, the equipment controls:
- the thermo-refrigeration plant and two sub-plants for the production of fluids;
- offices and guest quarters with radiant floor systems and primary air units;
- laboratories with air treatment units with variable flow rates to ensure the necessary pressures and avoid contamination from the outside;
- the data center with equipment dedicated to cooling;
- the canteen and common areas with primary air units and fan coils.
All systems are supervised by operators through the MNVIEW software and specially developed graphic pages, which allow operators to receive, analyze and record all the parameters in the field and possibly modify them in real time with a view to energy efficiency and savings for guarantee the best conditions of internal comfort.
